I was subbing and so I was staring at the computer moniter to read off the student's names for roll call and it was like I could barely see the names; it was as if I stared at a light for too long and it distorted by vision.
But then when I looked away; I saw it. Zig zagging lines in my uper vision of my left eye. I've had it happen to me before; but this was a while back and I wasn't out somewhere. And it didn't happen that long; but it went on for a half hour at least this time.
It's a eye migrane that's painless but just not being able to see and that weird feeling creeped me out. |

Oh yeah, those are scary! I've had a lot of them before, too, and I hate them! The scariest one I had had the zigzag lights start slowing coming "towards" me, getting bigger and bigger until I couldn't see anything around it at all before it finally moved on past me and went away.
Hopefully you won't have anymore of those, though I don't think they're harmful, precisely. They seem to be just scary and disturbing more than anything. The best thing I know to do is when you feel one of them coming on, try to get somewhere away from as much light as possible and definitely stop trying to look into anything bright like a computer monitor. Obviously when you're at work that makes it a lot more challenging, though! *hugs* ♥♥♥ |

I've had it before and it happened at the comfort of my own home not while I was working. That's what freaked me out the most.
There is a slippery slope to diagnosing your symptoms online. LOL. I was like "Okay Migraine." Make sense I get them A LOT.
But then one aid "Seizures!"
But it wasn't. LOL. There are aura seizures but I wasn't having one. |

Yep! I've had those. Scary and I'm a hypochondriac so I immediately think I have a brain tumor. _________________

I thought I was going blind and was going to have to be taken to the hospital from work. |

Yeah. Glad I am not blind. It would make vidding a wee bit difficult.
Thanks. |
