Every once an a while a clip that seems normal and fine turns red and is blank in the 'preview' why is that? It makes me have to remove the entire clip and re do it. I'm just curious about why it does that and what it means. |

Is it an AVI file? Sometimes my AVI files decide to do that :S if it persists; you can always render the clip in WMV and load it up again _________________

That's the weird thing. AVI clips do that for me because VEGAS doesn't like AVI files; but they're WMV files. |

Is the file on an external storage device? That usually happens to me when it's not reading properly. Just save the project, close Vegas and reopen it, that should fix it _________________
