On my last two Sony Vegas video files ( those little files you click on in your My Videos section that send you to the project) there is a little gold padlock in the lower left hand corner.I've never seen that before on any of my Sony Vegas files.So far it doesn't seem to be affecting the video in anyway.
I'm just curious why there is a little padlock on my file. Is there some lock somewhere that I may have accidently hit?

Hm, I haven't been able to find out any info at all about that, sorry! I don't open my projects that way (I just go to File - Open most of the time) so I don't know what that could be. Have you tried hovering the cursor over the image of the lock? Sometimes Vegas will tell you what something is when you do that. 
Other than that, sorry, I've got nothing.  If anybody knows what it is, I hope they'll say!  |

Happens to me too all the time! with all my new projects  NO idea what it is; but i noticed it over a year ago and it has had zero effect on any of my projects I'd like to know what it is out of curiosity; but yeah it won't affect the vid at all

I'm glad it won't affect the projects.I'm also glad to know someone else has had that pop up on their files. It would be interesting to find out why it just starts doing that after awhile.
