I am hunting for really heartbreaking and haunting songs with or without lyrics.
I am doing a video about a man who dies; he leaves behind his 4-5 year old son and wife.
I can't have anything too loud because I am working with a lot of audio and I don't want it to get lost in the song.
I tried asking Ask Yahoo but as always they give me the loudest of loud rock songs.
Something like Angels Flying Too Close To Ground by Willie Nelson; I wanted to use that song but it's too long for the vid.
Thank you. |

I always like to recommend these scores, because they are so haunting and sad:
Doomsday
The Rueful Fate Of Donna Noble
and one I discovered recently:
Snow

how about
Manchester Orchestra "I Can Feel A Hot One"?

or...
Verve Pipe - Freshmen

I think that even though the lyrics don't relate exactly to your story they kinda do in a way. Although now I'm listening they maybe aren't as heartbreaking or haunting as you would like. Oh well. _________________
