Earlier this year I had to install Sony Vegas on a second computer because it just stopped working on my laptop.
My laptop is a Compaq and uses Windows XP.I'd been making videos on it since 2007.But earlier this year after finishing a video I went to render it and I kept getting an error message.( I can't think of exactly what it said but if it'd help I can try to render a video and get it to come up.)
I went on a mass cleaning mission and deleted almost every video clip, music clip and picture as well as anything else I could possibly get rid of.But that didn't help because I still can't render videos on it.
I thought maybe I'd run out of space on my hard drive or in the memory but that doesn't seem to be the case because earlier this week I installed a CD program that required 1 GB of hard drive space and I haven't had any messages about not having enough space for the program.
So does anyone know why Sony Vegas would just stop rendering videos?
Here's something I noticed between the program on my laptop and on the other computer. There is a little number at the bottom by the words 'Record Time (2 channels)'. On my laptop the number is around 32: ??: ??where as the one on my other computer currently reads 415:22:15. Is this number important ?
