When I take clips from my DVD's they are really large files. A 1 minute clips will be 50+MB. Is there any way I can compress them or make them smaller?

I'm also having another problem. I am trying to get Jacob/Bella scenes from my New Moon DVD. My DVD shrink can't read it. I think its encrypted. This is what I am getting. Is the DVD protected by copyright?

Yeh; they will be really large because you're ripping them basically in the best quality. If you're tryign to save space; I suggest loading the clips you need into vegas and rendering them in a lower quality setting to make them smaller

As for that error; I get the same one when I try and rip DVD's sometimes, and yes as far as I know its a copyright thing that I've as of yet been unable to get around
