So as some of you may know, I've been having trouble with my computer, so I've downloaded a trial version of Sony Vegas 7 on my laptop so I can still vid for the time being.

Anyway, everything was working fine until earlier today when I was adding effects to a video I'm working on... I added the effect, and the screen that popped up wasn't the window where I could edit the color or anything, i was just like a timeline where I could add keyframes. So basically, I can add the effect but then can't change it at all. Which is slightly annoying. Anyone have any idea why? Because it was not doing this last night... Thanks for the help!

PS - It's the same for the transitions, which admittedly is less of a problem, but everything was working fine literally half an hour ago. I dunno, maybe somehow it'll sort itself out...

Have you tried making the window that appears bigger? Maybe it's squashed it or something

Wow. *facepalm* Now I feel silly. Apparenly that was the problem. Hahahaha! Thanks Millie! Yeah, I'm not used to working on a laptop....
