I am having issues with Quicktime clips. I don’t have a video converter. But the Quicktime clips play the audio barely plays the actual video it does in Windows Media when it’s rendered. But I think it’s making Sony Vegas freeze and barely want to play. It’s only with Afterwards clips of Evi’s that are giving me trouble. I have Quicktime clips of The Hurt Locker and they run smooth.

Is there something I can do to stop it? I hate not knowing where the clip ends while I am editing

You can convert the .mov on-line using www.zamzar.com It's a great site which I learned about here.

You can convert them to .avi's and that should work better for you.
