And it wont let me do anything to the video when that happens, and I don't know how to make it to where it doesn't do that. It does it pretty much once everyday, I figured I must be doing something to make it happen, I just don't know what. But usually I have to save my video and re-open it up again. Is there away to make it go back the way it was? Thanks.

you must have accidentally pressed "D"... I do it all the time while trying to push "S" to split clips... just keep pressing D and it will scroll through until you get back to the normal cursor...

That's the envelope editing tool. Press ctrl+d to go back to Normal Edit Tool (or click the icon for Normal Edit Tool up on the toolbar).
