I love this! It was sooo awesome.

You had a really cool storyline, so sad and angsty. Poor Juliet, thinking Jack was dead while he was living a new life on the island.

But of course, he doesn't know that he has any chance of getting back to her. Great ending btw! I can't wait to see the sequel.

Fabulous Samara! I'm glad you finally finished it! I remembering watching this render a million years ago...and it was soo good back then. I loved the entire beginning sequence with the plane crash her telling their son Jack was dead and the funeral. It all flowed so great! Oooo and then I loved the.."I think he's alive scene." and then When Jack and Kate fell in love!
Can't wait for part 2!! This is my new favorite AU of yours!

Getting this vid finished and submitted has been the worse vidding experience of my life (Murphy's Law!

) so I'm really glad people are enjoying it!

Oh and Annie, that clip was from a telemovie called "Haskett's Chance". When I saw it and realised how well it fit Lost I had to make this vid.

I don't expect to get a response but I'm going to try anyway...
Could the two people who voted silver please PM me with criticism if they're uncomfortable leaving a public comment? I was bewildered when the votes came in given how overwhelmingly positive the response I did receive was. Like most vidders, I try very hard to improve with each vid but that's difficult when people aren't willing to provide honest feedback. If you believe that your vote was fair then you shouldn't have any problem supplying an explanation. Obviously you believe there was room for improvement -- what I'm asking is that you tell me where.

I just watched it again, and I really can't see any reason why it would be a silver vid.

The storyline was original and understandable, the texture wasn't distracting, the manips worked well, the audio wasn't too loud or quiet, I didn't see any ghost clips... None of the normal reasons why a vid would be voted down. I really liked it. Objectively, I just can't see it. So gold from me, Sam, awesome job. Can't wait for part 2.

ooh, now THAT is a 'to be continued' ending

this was very cool Sam! I teared up when Juliet told owen about the plane crash

that was so sad

And that chat with that woman where Juliet said she thinks he's alive, that was really great and totally set up the ending, loved the Jate stuff too

I thought about trying to cram the whole story into four minutes but that last shot of Juliet made for such a great ending that I thought I'd split it and give the Jate/Jacket triangle stuff the attention it deserved. I'm not sure when part 2 will be done but I've started piecing together some manips (How lucky am I that there are so many Juliet/Kate jealousy scenes?!

) so hopefully soon.

Samara, I thought I had already commented on this! I love it! Excellent storyline, all the AU stuff was great. It looked awesome how you had Juliet seeing about the plane crash on tv. Great work!
