JUNE 2009
Contest: "We all live in a yellow submarine"
Deadline: June 30

The Details:
"We all live in a yellow submarine, yellow submarine, yellow submarine."~"Yellow Submarine", The Beatles

This months contest for June is all about tunes by the legendary band, The Beatles! This band was one of the coolest bands in the 1960's and they have fun classic songs from "Yellow Submarine" to "Birthday" to "It's a hard day's night" and more!

Also, not just Beatles songs, but it's ensemble vids as well! Which means we want to see the entire group of the Losties! Characters from all seasons!

If you want to focus on ships, please use three or more to be considered an ensemble and ships can be AU or Canon or both.

Overall, we want you to use any song by the band, The Beatles, and make a fabulous ensemble video to it!

We will be using a Claiming System for this contest. The same song may only be used by two vidders.

The Rules

Specific Contest Rules:
• - Make an ensemble video to a Beatles song.
• -You're not required to use ships but if you choose to, then please use no less than three couples to qualify as an ensemble.
• - No covers or songs just sung by John Lennon or Paul McCartney, only Beatles.
• - Must follow the claiming system by claiming one song. Only two vidders per song. One song per video!

• - Running time should be no longer than 5 minutes. We suggest the 3 - 5 minute range.
• -The more creative, the better. Don't be afraid to take risks.
• -When entering your video on the Submit page, you MUST enter "June 2009 contest submission" exactly in your vid's description.

General Contest Rules:

• -Contest submissions should be entered through the Submit page.
• -All regular submissions rules apply.
• -Only one entry per vidder.
• -Videos already submitted and RELEVANT can be submitted again, but we would rather see something fresh. (Please contact a CM if you wish to enter a previously-submitted video)
• -Please do not use Megaupload, Rapidshare or Yousendit as your only link to host your files.
• -Keep in mind that however you choose to host your video, it must be available for viewing at least until the end of the contest. If we can not access your video at the time of judgment it will not be considered.
• -Have fun!

YAY, I've been hoping we'd have a Beatles contest at some point!

For now, I'm gonna claim "I Am the Walrus." I hope I can get this vid done!

HURRAY!!!! AWESOME IDEA!! I know it's been thrown around a few times, but I'm happy it's finally happening!!

That said, I'm claiming "All you need is love"

I've had an idea for that song for so long and now I can use it! Yay!!
