I wasn't sure where I should post this so please move it if it's in the wrong section...
But anyone know where I can find some instrumental songs? I am having a hard time finding some and I want to use some without lyrics right now but I can't find any, and without some, my video I have in mind will be on hold...
any instrumental is fine, the more choices the better. Thanks! _________________ *~Summer~*

im not sure where this should go either; maybe in song requests?? but i know what you mean, its tough finding instrumentals I'd look into Vitamin String Quartet, they do instrumentals of modern day songs like She Will Be Loved and Misery Business and stuff :];] _________________

no worries you should also look into James Newton Howard; he does a lot of instrumental music in movies _________________

Anything in particular you looking for? Because I know there's a few groups that have a whole bunch of instrumental stuff. I know two: X-Ray Dog and Immediate Music. Just Youtube those and a bunch of their content comes up.
Plus, going along with what Kat said, you could always check out some movie/television soundtracks, they always have some good stuff
Oh, and if you're into string instrumentals there's a group I know of called Bond. They have this fantaaastic one called "Explosive" which I just adore
Then of course you have pianists who do some pretty amazing stuff as well. Yiruma is this Korean pianist, I know two of his works: "Kiss the Rain" and "River Flows in You" (aka Bella's Lullaby from Twilight, apparently?)
...I'll shut up and stop rambling now. _________________

I had to go set up my profile because I just HAD to make this my first post on the LVI forum...
TV and movie soundtracks and Vitamin String Orchestra are a great way to start, but I've got a few instrumental artists to recommend as well.
If you want a pianist, I'd suggest William Joseph, George Winston, Herbie Hancock and Liz Story. Each of them has a varied style of playing and one should suit whatever mood you're looking for.
And it's the same with these guitarists: Steve Vai, Eric Johnson and Will Ackerman. They each have their different styles. Vai does edgy rock, Johnson handles the smoother side and Ackerman has some beautiful acoustics.
Also, you might check out Lucia Micarelli on the violin and Chris Botti on trumpet. Loosh is rocking. I don't know of too many violinist who would attempt a medley of Chopin and Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody."
Wow...I've rambled a lot. LOL. Hope you find something you like! |

Ya, i work with instrumentals all the time. A lot of rap songs include instrumentals but the sounds are different then what ur probably goin for. But ya any movie soundtracks too, look into Audiomachine, Brand X Music, X-Ray Dog and whoever you find along the way but they may be kinda hard to find a download. _________________
