LVI has received notice that we are no longer allowed to carry out monthly contests. In a surprise ruling this week, Warner Music Group was given the absolute copyright over the words "monthly contest" as well as the entire concept itself of a contest that occurs roughly every 30 days. As many of us are well aware, WMG takes copyright violations very seriously and LVI has opted to comply with this new ruling, rather than risk being forced to shut down.

The Council is shocked, dismayed and saddened at this turn of events. We urge you to please read this important message and discover your own personal rights in this matter.
