Okay so while I'm a fan of the Harry Potter books and alternatively the films - I'm not exactly obsessive about it so this was probably announced forever ago but...
Ralph Fiennes as Voldemort?
That's hot! |

Card carrying cinephile here - how can you not know who Ralph Fiennes is?
I had this dream with him in it. I was babysitting someone. I was immediately aware that it was a dream because A) The person I was babysitting was my same age and B) We were sitting around a pool in some posh hollywood-hills-type pad.
We were arguing over the pronunciation of his name. I kept arguing that it was pronounced "Rayfe" while sitting in a lounge chair, while the person I was babysitting swam around the pool and continued to protest that it was pronounced, "Ralph."
Suddenly, out of nowhere, Ralph Fiennes himself strolls by the pool in a khaki suit, tosses his jacket over his shoulder and as he is leaving looks back at us, essence of cool, and casually says, "It's 'Rayfe.'" And then proceeds to walk off.
End of dream.
Very strange indeed. |

Ah the English Patient gotcha! As for how I could forget who he was I have two reasons. First - they took my cinemaphile card away after I announced that Reign of Fire and Wing Commander were good films and Chariots of Fire was boring. Second - the only male English actors I can recall by name play thugs, buffoons or wield a lightsabre. I can remember most English female actors though. Call me sexist. _________________
