Ooh, awesome job, Kate! I've never heard the song, but it worked really well for Claire, and your editing was beautiful!

I loved the beat use with the dissolve effect, and your different coloring was great too. Very nice job! My favorite part was the "ba-da-ba-da" part from 1:28-1:40, and then the bird part from :41-:45. They were both really cool-looking!

Wow I LOVED this video! The song is great for Claire and the clips you used worked so well for the lyrics. The colorings were beautiful and your beat use was amazing. I loved the way you edited the holding hand scene in "Par avion".
And the part with "The cookie crumbles" was prefect

Once again you make an awesome video!

Aww, Kate, that was wonderful!!! I always love seeing Claire-centric vids that aren't all about her relationship with Charlie. She is definitely more than just that. You did a great job on showing all the different sides of her and I loved your interpretation of the lyrics, especially the "I am young but I have aged" parts. Great editing and beat use (as always!!

Karolina-Aw, you're so nice. I'm so pleased that you enjoyed it! I agree with you, I had to have some Charlie in there but her life is more than just that and I included her ups and downs in her past and present life. Gorgeous character study! I just loooove your editing! Beat use was perfect and I loved your lyric intepretation! Awesome!

I always love your use of pictures too, very well edited and I liked the end where Claire had her eyes closed and it seemed as if she was thinking about everything that's happened to her. Really gorgeous work!!

Fabulous Kate! I love Butterfly Boucher...but yeah youtube doesn't allow her music b/c they deleted my Bitter Song. Anyways back to your vid. I loved the bird scene! The overlays were gorgeous and I liked the lyric interpretation too. "Could this be the day I've waited for" with the hand holding.

The peanut butter scene was adorable! I also liked the part "I am young and i have aged." And you show her pregnant and then with Aaron. That was so fitting b/c having a baby definitely makes you grow up faster! I liked that you had Aaron the reason for seizing the day...like she finally started to appreciate life more and stop being childish. Gold!

Yay Kate! Success! It feels good doesn't it? Brilliant, brilliant video. You totally captured the concept and your technique is amazing. I always love your mix of effects. I like the way this video mixes really fast cuts with stills and slow-motion as well as bright coloring and then black and white. It's so eclectic and vibrant and totally works with the song. You are one of my favorite vidders. Thanks for taking on this request and thanks , letting me be a part of the creative process. I'll defiantly send more ideas your way in the future!
