using Windows Movie maker, how do I insert audio (characters voices) into a video? i already have a ton of clips uploaded, do I have to seperately upload audio , or can I just take it from the clips and use it at different times and different spots. And if I can, how?
I want to make an AU video, so some of the stuff they are saying won't always be in the original spot and time they said it, you know? Just tell me everything you know about that, and keep in mind I will have music playing at the same time, I want to be able to hear both. please and thank you. |

What you do in WMM to accomplish that is instead of dragging the video onto the video timeline - drag it onto the audio timeline. Then you'll have just the audio and no video.
The problem though, is that WMM doesn't allow you to have multiple timelines - so, say you want to add your audio halfway through the song. WMM doesn't really let you do this. It works if you want the audio at the beginning or end of a song, but not in the middle.
But you can do it - the easiest way is to just edit your video to your liking, render it, then import it back in WMM, and then add your audio. It's pretty easy... _________________

CaptainFreya is an expert at adding audio in WMM so you should PM her if you have any more questions. _________________
