[size=18]I just got done making my very first video in Windows Movie Maker. I went on youtube to upload it but when I when I tried it told me to go back to my project and export my movie in .WMV format. I Have no idea how to do this, I am new at this. Can anyone help me? |

All you have to do is go to File - Save Movie As and that will walk you through the rendering process. There will be a pulldown menu by where you give your vid its name, just make sure it says .WMV (which stands for Windows Media Video ) and not something else like .AVI (which will give you a huge finished file size ).
When it's done rendering, (which will take a few minutes depending on the size and complexity of your project) it should give you the chance to watch your finished vid in Windows Media Player (that will let you check it for any errors you couldn't see while it was still in .WMM (Windows Movie Maker project format). Then you just upload the .WMV version to YouTube.
