ok; this is really giving me the sh*ts and I cant seem to find a way to fix it. Something is up with my display driver and it MUST be fixed because I can't render videos in Vegas. It seems that if the render takes longer than 3 minutes; the comp freezes, this scratchy thing comes up and then it restarts.

From searching and searching online I've found that something is wrong with the Display Driver R300 or something. that comes up in a bubble before it shuts down. but i can't figure out a way to fix it. The online stuff says that is a Vista/ATI problem. If it is, then how can I fix it? Are updates what I should be looking at? Cos ive heard conflicting reports that it's updates that caused the problem :S

I need help desperately; i can't render any vids in Vegas!!
