I use Windows Movie Maker on XP to make my videos.
Is there any way to cut out sections from the middle of a clip, and to like split it into two clips? It is so frustrating to put down the same clip twice and try and make it match up the way you want. _________________ I want to make videos like Charmax and LAURA4LAD when I grow up.

well in Movie maker, you can click the project line (like the movie section youre working on) and you can split clips with that same splitter that you normally use for the collections clips.
ummm... that was phrased bad... lets see
put the clip you want to split or whatever in the project section. now click on it, move the big blue line deelee (LOL) to where you want to split it in half, and press the splitter button (the left one underneath the preview window) |
