i need help people, i have my best lost video ever half done and all the sudden i cant play avi's on my sony Vegas, ill either only get the volume of an episode or nothing at all, i want to fix this with out converting all 70 some episodes into mpegs please help, ive tried diff codex and everything, how do i get avi working again |

Hmm, if you've already tried different codecs, I'm not really sure what else you can do, since usually that's what the problem is. You said that .AVIs just suddenly stopped working. Did you change anything or install any new program or anything like that around the time when .AVI stopped working? |

when i d/load the season 4 eps; more often than not i get audio only or footage only. I use avic fourcc code changer and it sorts out the problem for me. you can get it here and im pretty sure there's a tutorial for it in the vegas help thread but as ais said; if it happened suddenly it may be something you updated in vegas recently? _________________

That kinda happened with mine but I can't use .mp3's anymore. I just have to save my songs in wmm. _________________
