Hey! I like this better than the Hurley vid (and I liked that one a good deal, but your vidding technique is stronger and more controlled here). Good use of the subtle fades/blends/whatever you call 'em in Vegas, and I liked (though I thought I wouldn't) the yellow hue when it popped up.
Brief word of advice: Try to keep beat use a little more consistent? You had white flashes - I think - on the one-beats, but not on the three-beats, and so it felt a little long and unwieldy before the next beat count. I'd suggest beating two notes per measure (one and three beat, or two and four beat), as that'll give the video a bit more uniform feel.
Also, a suggestion: I'd like to see what you'd do with an out-and-out rock song, something a bit harder or grungier. I've seen floaty and thoughtful songs; I'd like to see something loud and banging now, if you want! _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

Thank you so much Kate! I know, my Hurley vid I wanted to use more blending and overlays. When I was doing this one, I tried my best to try effects like everyone else. I'm glad you liked them.
I understand about the flashes, but everytime I use them I feel as if I'm over using them, but I know I'm not. Thanks for your advice!
For the rock song, I'm alwyas more into Classic rock as to grunge, but I could always try it, thanks for the idea! |

Well, classic rock works too. Just curious what you'd do with a strongly beated song like that, which is why I suggested it.
As far as the trying effects like everyone else, the effects weren't what sold it for me; what did it was the fact that you chose strong clips. As far as the blending and overlays in the Hurley video, they were good, but each blend necessarily makes it harder to see any given shot, so it's a bit of a balancing act, looks like. Then again, I say this never having been able to load any clips into Vegas, let alone use it, so take it with a grain of salt, as I'm by no means even a Vegas novice, let alone expert! _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. Quite different and artsy!! Great overlays, I especially like the one with Aaron in the middle of Charlie and Claire. The 'image stopping' was a nice touch too. _________________

And there's the unique editing again! Beautifully done. loved the overlay of clips. And ADORED when they were kissing and you overlapped the 'FATE' finger bandages. Again, very enjoyable vid
