SuperKC: That's what I was going for - the song is circular and doesn't really have an end, either - so it's good to know it came through. Thanks!
Uruviel: Puzzle piece effect was downloaded from somewhere (do a search for it), but with it I taught myself how to write XML effects, so it's not entirely lazy.  I had to use it for that lyric, though.
KajaM: Thanks! One of the one things I do OK on, generally, is lyric use and picking fitting songs, but I wasn't sure if all of the lyrical connections would come through on this one. Apparently it worked!
charmed_charlie: Thanks! Good to know it appealed to folks who aren't interested in the character.  I think (?) I have the only fast song, or one of the few, of the contest, and I chose it deliberately because it was fast, and reasonably rocking.
cylune: Thanks as well! Good to know the captions were appreciated; I wasn't sure if they'd be a distraction. The font was deliberately chosen, too, as 'The World Turned Upside Down' is an old English song about Oliver Cromwell, and I wanted to use a Restoration-era (1600s Britain) font, to make the connection. Yes, I'm an English history dork.

This was an excellent song choice for Desmond. Just spot-on! Awesome lyric interpretations and I loved the X and Y, too! (I might not have caught the connection between the font and the song, but I certainly knew it looked "right." )

Thanks, Aislynn! I don't listen to Coldplay, really, but when I was looking through lyrics to use, this one popped out at me as perfect for Desmond, and I like him, so I figured I'd do a vid on him. If nothing else, I can pick fitting songs, even if my vidding skills don't always do them justice.
And yes, the font thing was hopelessly nerdy, but what can I say?
