Welcome to the LVI, Fabu, and congrats on the newcomer award! 
There are some very cool AU moments in your vids and I really enjoyed watching it. Favourite part: Kate (with this priceless expression on her face  ) watching naked Desmond run through the jungle.

This is a really great AU vid!
The constructed scenes are SOOO believable. I really like it when Shannon is yelling at Kate. But I really loved it (since it was so damn believable) when Desmond proposed to Kate. Great job!
The only thing I would say to watch for it things that might kill the story. For example, showing Kevin as Kate's husband goes against the fact that Des is supposed to be marrying her. Just watch out for little things like that. Otherwise, this was a GREAT first LVI vid. I'm sure you'll make more wonderful vids like this!

KajaM, that means a lot coming from you. I love your vids ^__^ LOL it scares me how the jungle scene fits so perfectly.
rbexter93, thanks! Poor Shannon. I really do miss her. That's one of the reason's why I chose her.
Island-Princess, Thank you. rbexter93 entered a Desmond/Shannon/AL fanvid, which was a blow to me since I thought it was clever to triangulate characters that never met each other or barely talked to each other. Hers is so AU. Those 3 never met!
PsychoCynic, thank you for the criticism. I was thinking of removing the Kevin scene, but I added the sliding effect thinking that it will solve the problem. I wanted to end the vid at the proposal scene, but I had to add more scenes to make the fanvid 3 minutes. As for the proposal scene, I had to rewatch all of Kate's flashbacks (and the dreadful bank robbery  ) to find a scene that has the same camera moving effect as the Desmond scene.
I found it very easy to manipulate Kate and Desmond, but the hardest parts were: 1) Trying not to reuse clips 2) Reaching 3 minutes
Question: Should every entry for a contest must be over 3 minutes? |
