Okay so my request thread has been the spark that ignited two great vids! Can lightning strike THREE TIMES?

I am once again exiled to the land of non-vidder-dom. And I beseech you my fellow vidders. MAKE THIS VIDEO FOR ME! If you do nothing else!

I am DYING (Dying, I say!) to make this vid myself, but for some reason I'm unable to download episodes because of my crappy connection. I can't do torrents because they don't work for me and everyone knows that when YouSendIt "pauses" it NEVER resumes. Impossible! I say. So in light of my inability to make a vid, I NEED someone to make me a Jack and Kate vid to the song "Taste" by Lorna Vallings. I think it would take some clever editing, but if it works it would work remarkably well.

I'm gonna upload the song in just a tick but right now I'll present to you the lryics.

Great song and it'd make an equally fantabulous vid. But I think to do it real justice it's going to take a program more swanky than WMM. I see all sorts of cool fade-overs and pic-in-pic things going on for this one (I don't know WHY I see that, I just do... ).

Not saying that somebody couldn't do a beautiful job with WMM on it, BTW. I just can't see how I could do it with WMM or I'd give it a try. Despite the possible adverse reaction from the Sawyerness in my blood...

Then there's the matter of the 3 vids I'm already committed to, all due in a matter of weeks. I think the key word in that sentence is committed...

Hope somebody takes this, 'cause I think it would rock!

Oh, and I forgot to ask last time... I know what you mean about YSI and its "Whoops! There it goes! Start all over again!" problem. Ran into that ALL the time on dial-up, just trying to download a regular sized vid. Have you tried YSIGet? That's all that saved me from total insanity in the dial-up days. It's YSI's free download manager but it'll work for a lot of other places as well and will let you resume most broken downloads. Just a thought 'cause I hate to think of my grrrrrrl KC getting smacketh-downeth by YSI...

Ugh. I'm such a doofus. Ever since I threw down that gauntlet of "Oh, I don't see HOW anybody could make this vid with WMM, blah blah blah..." now that's all I can think about!

Let me make ya a deal. I still have a pretty full plate of vids to handle in the immediate future. But, once they've cleared out, if nobody has taken this one yet (or wouldn't it be cool if you somehow found a way to make vids yourself again! ), then I'll give 'er a go. But I can't promise it would be a straight-up Jate vid. My brain is permanently stuck in AUville, you know...

I think it's fair to say that I'm game for that! It's not like my non-vidding self has any real say! Haha. So it wouldnt' be a "straight up" Jate vid, but would it still be a Jate vid? I think I'm confused. I LOVE AU vids though!

As for the song: I can definitely see a great video in there, but it's too "normal" and not wacky an idea for me to get the drive to do Sorry but I've got a few waiting in my line already, and as much as I'd like to make you happy, I know I'll just never get it done the way I like it
However, I think this would be a GREAT song for a newcommer that wants to make their mark. When I think of that song though, I immediately think Charlie and Claire, noit Jack and Kate I think it would make a great C/C relationship study from Charlie's P.O.V. (which is always tough with a female singer, but I think it'll work here) great fit to Charlie's obsession with Claire, and the "infect me" part could be turned around so Charlie is crazy over her (using those crazy vision scenes in the last ep)
The one problem is it's a long song! tough to keep interest that long no matter how great the vid is... hmmmm....

Okay, so here's the deal... I think I'm ready to officially claim this one -- unless YOU should decide to want it back, KC. I, *raises right hand* Aislynn J. Viddergirl, esq., do solemnly swear to do this song as a Jate vid to the best of my abilities.

It was totally the music! I put it on my Official Cassette Tape Of Songs I Listen To When I'm Making A Vid and have heard it enough times that suddenly a story popped into my head while listening to it. Then, immediately following The Story came the all important Possible Animation Effects. Once you get those things going, it's almost impossible to avoid wanting to do the vid, you know?

I still have a vid to do (a mushy, gooey Skate romance vid which will counteract the Jateness... ), but I'll push back my Locke vid (shhh, don't tell Warren! ) and do this one next, unless you decide you want this back, s'okay?

Oh, and I may have to cut the song down just because my WMM has a freak-out when a song gets much past 3:30 minutes or so. Will that be acceptable? *makes big puppy dog eyes*
