k maybe I'm just really dumb, but what is TPTB? I keep seeing it all over the place and I'm really starting to feel like I'm missing something...

I totally agree with that. He's mad at them, because they know she's his weakness and they're using it against him. You can see him glance up at the cameras multiple times during the conversation, and I think that he wanted to end the conversation as quickly as possible, before they realised how much of a weakness she actually is to him.

That's the thing that makes me more confused. I think that whenever each 'ship' has an emotional moment, they like to slip in something from the other 'ship' to make us more confused ("Live together, Die alone" etc). The main thing that got me worried in this scene was the, "I have to", it made it clear then that she does care an awful lot about Sawyer when she said that.

It stands for The Powers That Be.
You know, I only found that out about a month ago. I would sit and spend ages tring to write down all the possible phrases that could be made for it. Eventually I gave up and just replaced it with "The Writers etc" everytime I read it.

AWH! I loved that when he said Have they hurt you. I agree that Kate cares an awful lot about Sawyer but agree with Borislava that Sawyer reminds her too much of what she wants to escape. I would have loved less angst but...That's life

Well, I think she now sees Sawyer as a "rogue" with a good heart, and not what shes trying to escape.
You got me- they FINALLY had great chemistry in this scene, maybe because it was so emotionally charged.
Wouldnt it be cool if Rousseau busts out of the woods, kills everybody and takes Alex? And by everyone I dont mean our heroes, lol.

Oh my God..What a scene with Jack & Kate....Just the way Jack looked at Kate gave me goose bumps...What an amazing chemistry these two have, just breath taking to watch them. I don't know why I care so much that Kate choose's Jack. I usually hate love triangles, but can't quite explain why this one has such an effected on me, plus it's just a TV show
The end left me a little confused when Jack said we are done here... |

Wow...drama, drama, drama. Jack needing to save/help Sawyer again all because of Kate  I wonder if that will be the cliffhanger if/when Jack says no.

Jack and Sawyer are now one in the same as far as I see it. Both have their respective darkside and good side.
Whoever said that they love to see Jack suffer, I am so onboard with that. I love seeing vulnerable sides to "tough" characters. Hmmm...is that a little masochistic

I don't think Jack will say no. In the promo for this coming episode it showed Ben with that thing on his face (I'm not a medical expert) the one that plugs in to your nose or whatever so you can have air. Anyway, we see him coming towards the camera as if he's laying down on his stomach. I think this could be the big operation.
I honestly Jack will go for it, not to help Sawyer, but to help Juliet. If he kills Ben, there goes the leader. I don't think Ben will necessarily die, but could be put into a state where he can't make decisions, like a coma for example. I don't think Jack could actually kill someone purposely like that, and being a spinal surgeon, he could know a way to get Ben into that kind of state. I honestly don't see Ben going anywhere for awhile.
That's my theory, hehe  |
