Accidental is when Ana shot Shannon because she was disoriented and stressed out because of the whispers. The others are clever.

Well she already did shoot some guy down in the street. Haha. I like Ana-Lucia though. But I would think that's manslaughter (the Shannon shooting). "I thought she was someone else," wouldn't exactly hold up in court. So what were you doing trying to shoot someone else?

Naw-aw!!! If you go back and watch the episode where Ana shot her, there are whispers playing in the background all around her and she's just circling around holding the gun with the look on her face that by no means shows determination or sureness of what she's doing, she looks rather scared of what's going to happen and is just trying to protect herself, and when she saw somebody moving she went ahead and shot without hesitation because, if it were one of the others, they would be too conniving to give her enough time before they were doomed.
Even when she apologized in Lockdown, Sayid replied, "It wasn't you who killed Shannon. It was the others." obviously the others know how to mess with them and get people to kill other people.
LOL.

I have to go with Distress on this one. It would be a ruling of "accidental" that she LITERALLY got into the line of fire. Under all the corcumstances- Cindy disappearing- no one could blame her. All the whispers etc, actually REALLY freaked ME out, and thats not easy to do. I think the only other time I ever got *chills* from the show was during Locke's dream about Boone.

Yeah, that's probably right. The murder of that guy in the parking lot can't be attributed to anyhting but murder though, even if someone might argue she had the "right" to do it.
