I know what you mean, but the love triangle IS a main story line. It's kind of what you expect. It gets intwined with other main focuses on the show, eg. getting off the island - we saw that J&K got off the island, so it involved them there too.

& besides, it's a KATE episode so its going to focus on her storylines, the main one being the Jack/Kate/Sawyer love triangle.

With PB+J, main storylines didnt interact with them as much as they do Jack, Kate and Sawyer. And the ones that did, like Ethan being an Other and Desmond seeing Charlie die in flashes, always did involve PB+J, so it's the same with any cannon ship on the show.

& regarding the "Jate Season" I think they mean that instead of focusing the love triangle on Skate, they're focusing it on Jate. I dont think they meant the whole season is going to revolve around Jate

True, I hope they sort the triangle out soon though. But there's always gonna be a huge amount of people upset. If Kate chooses Jack then Skaters will be unhappy and vise versa

Yeah I know. There'll always be some people upset when it comes to a love triangle - thats inevitable =/

But whoever it is thats endgame, all the writers think it's the best choice. I read that on Dark a while ago.

This is just a rumor, and even if it turns out to be true, the Jaters thought TMFT was a beautiful episode because nothing in the world will keep them apart. Better than all the Jate moments so far? The kiss Kate ran away from, the net, the 'look', the spoon licking, it doesn't take much to be better than any of that. No matter what, in four episodes, it's not going to be better than Kate and Sawyer's story in the mini-arc. I'm not getting upset over someone's opinion of something that was heard second or third handed.

Yup, IMO i'd like Kate more if she just stopped using both Jack and Sawyer, it's like she uses one for payback and then the other whenever she had problems.

I want independant Kate back

I really dislike Kate. She used to be my fave, but I hate that she's using Sawyer the way she is and also that she's playing with both of Jack and Sawyer's hearts. It's not fair to them, and I would have NEVER thought that Kate woudl just use Sawyer for sex until it happened in Catch 22...yes, I assume that's what she's doing, what else could it be?

So I'm annoyed....I mean, the Jate and Skate seasons? So last season was for Skaters and this one will be for Jaters (or more so than last year)? This show is becoming all about the triangle instead of the mystery of the island and all of them surviving together. Ships are great and I love them, and I really adore Skate but this is starting to bother me. I seriously am such a Skater that I will lay in bed at night and think about how I wish Skate would stay happy and how Jate will probably happen.

Most people dont like her because of her choices when it comes to which guy she picks. It's pathetic, but it's true. Some people will even hate the show if their couple isnt endgame, like some PB+Jers have. Kate only started to be hated when she went to one guy instead of the other, and then went back to the other one, and then back to the other one, and so on and so forth. People seem to hate her not becase she's a murderer, but because she didnt pick the guy she wanted them to pick.

Non shippers dislike her because Skate ruined part of season 3. As Ais said, people are blaming her and Sawyer for Season 3's "lack of" and taking the main focus of the show onto them.

However, being the lead female, she has a huge fanbase. ALOT of viwers still like her. I know I did, even when the Skate sex happened. For me, I believe she makes bad choices, and thats part of her character, and the whole point of her on the show (like it is for everyone) is redemption and realisation.

By the sounds of it, Kate will be a fan favourite again in Season 4.
