But anyway, I'm way more inclined to Skate than Jate, if I had to choose between those ships. Jate scenes usually make me puke. That's usually because the corniest and most predictable scenes ever are Jate scenes.

Jate is Fate: in other words it's so predictable it's God-awful boring. Skate at least is interesting if nothing else (or yeah, interesting  Sawyer is Wayne! Who saw THAT coming!?)
I love people who fight over this it makes me snicker.
Then again, if this was a Jack vs Locke argument...
In all seriousness though, Kate isn't going to end up with Sawyer, or Jack. It's gonna be Henry. He just kidnapped Jack and Sawyer so he has someone to gloat to afterwards. That evil little man |

Dear God, I guess it is still funny. *facepalm* I WISH I knew what the hell I was on when I wrote that, though. Because I don't remember it. 
I totally agree with DS and Hobbizle about Jate. To me, Kate has always been attracted to Jack because she thought he was the 'safe choice' , or someone who could help her find redemption; basically, she thought of Jack as her hero, someone who could take her down the right path and essentially be the right thing for her...
...and once again, there was another Michelina Rant here, but I decided to cut it for the sake of those who are pro-Jate. My post would do nothing but make you want to chuck tomatoes at me.
Yeah, I still have no idea who Kate will "choose" this fall. At this point, I don't care, as long as the triangle gets to move forward after two seasons of almost no definite progress.
I like the people who are laidback about this though, and say things like, "Oh, screw Kate. JACK/SAWYER!" They make me giggle. And yes, Warren, Kate/Henry would be pretty hot too. He was totally eyeing her in the finale.

Ohhhh Ed. The story has just BEGUN! Okaay well, i'll just skip the whole 'Jate forever' yada yada yawn and just cut to the chase.
She obviously said that because she realised that Jack was mad at her for kissing him and then running off! Like in 2x11 The Hunting Party she wanted him to talk to her and he couldnt. Why? Because he was dissapointed in her for kissing him and then not talking to him after. So she only said 'I'm sorry I kissed you' because she wanted him to give her attention and talk to her like he used to.
