Hmm..I'm not actually sure, I think either Ais or Warren will have to look, but I can't see it being anything with the site if I've managed to do it fine

Well, darn! I was sure that changing it to .JPG would do the trick!

Using IE was going to be my next suggestion but if that already hasn't worked... I'm not really sure what could be the problem.

I see you have two links, one a YouTube link and the other looks like it's some place else. Have you tried submitting with just the YouTube link? (And also made sure that it's the link directly to the vid and not the code YT gives you to embed a vid?) *is scouring brain for anything at all that it might be*

Whew! That was weird, wasn't it?

Yay! Glad it works for you, Becca. I was lurking, cuz I have this problem a lot as well. I'll sit there for like an hour trying to submit the darn thing at times. It's way sensitive.

I had the same problems today, so I shortened my discription and removed all punction so my sentence looks like a long ramble, lol, cuz the vid I uploaded I know is no-where near as good as the first one I uploaded as I am uploading a few vids that I've had on youtube a while, going backwards, from newest to oldest, so looks like I am getting worse at making them rather then better, so was trying to explain that in the descripton box, but simply too many punctuation was required!

I also had the same problem signing up with 'incorrect characters have been entered', but a friend told me it could possibly be due to the site getting hacked....so I gave up and tried again another day, and low and behold got through the stressy registering! The 'prove your human by entering the code' thing was also invisible as well which didn't help with the trying to register first time round.

Sorry for the troubles you had getting through the "special characters" thing, Fal!

Glad you were finally able to get registered and then get your vid submitted today, though.

It's on site now, so you can go to the post in the Video forum and edit your main post to replace the punctuation, if you'd like!
