That was such a beautiful vid, Stacy! The song was perfect for August's story. Loved your casting. August as the little tree was perfect since he was once a wooden boy. I loved how your video captured the true essence of Christmas. It's not about presents and decorations but about love and just those simple moments of kindness, etc. Perfect lyric interpretation and loved the "light up the world" and "lost may find their way" sections. The part where the rainbow goes over the land and people was amazing and perfect with the music, made me a bit emotional. I think whenever I see those scenes now I'm going to hear this music. I liked how you turned that final scene into one of joy and not sadness.

Maybe I watch vids way too hard but I think I caught a couple subtle references...When August was talking about the book of stories that really happened, it made me think of the Bible. Also Henry giving Mary Margaret the bell in your Christmas vid reminded me of It's a Wonderful Life and the thing about every time a bell rings an angel gets their wings. Especially because the song talks about an angel, Emma.

I really loved your vid, it was so lovely and heartfelt.

Thank you all for your comments. I am glad you liked the song choice. I heard this song a couple of years ago and have been trying to figure out how to use it. August is my favorite character on Once so when Once introduced August as a child, I knew this was his song. Emma and Gepetto just were naturals for the other parts of the song. Macaila, I'm glad you caught my "Easter eggs". With the song being so serious, I wanted to put a little fun in it with the "Easter egg" hunt.
