I know this really annoying guy at school who claims to be a huge Weird Al fan, and he's always talking about his songs...I only just realised I don't think he's ever mentioned a real one of his songs before. _________________

heh, I've known they weren't Al songs for a while, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna bother changing their file names. they make Al look better anyway. |

No I'm not a lot of themn are a hell of a lot more clever than a lot of Al's, Al may be the icon of this genre of music, but there are plenty of good songs in that list:
Cat in the Kettle, Hello, I Love You (Let's get Tested for AIDS), Elmo's Got a Gun, Darth Maul, Don't Shoot Mr. Postman, A**hole Son, 12 Pains of Christmas, Bimbo Number 5, Star Wars Cantina, Weenie in a Bottle, Y.O.D.A. and even Which Backstreet Boy is Gay
They're hillarious! And most importantly, witty; not resorting to stupid rhymes or bodilly noises to make the laughter, which seems to be why you're saying these are all horrible If you ask me, Al himself uses a lot more of that than some of these do. Just because there are a few really dumb ones, like the drug-related ones doesn't mean they're all bad. |

That's not true, I may not be as bigger fan as you guys but I don't like any of the fake songs. _________________

I don't care if you like some of them, but saying they make Al look better and are more clever and witty than his, then... damn. And I think bodily fluids are worse than bodily noises.
I don't need to resort to jokes about sticking sexual organs in bottles. |

BUt that was my favorite part. The joke is that he's saying the most imature thing anyone can say, but with all the fake vocal 'passion' of James Blunt.

did you just say that? |

heheh, yep I like humor of any kind, doesn't have to have to come from one guy to be funny.

You just hate it because you see it as a threat to Al but yeah, eBay is better. I still think that one's worth listening to though, and KaJaM agrees, right?! |

I don't see some song by some guy named Bob Rivers as a threat to Al.
I don't care if you like some of them. Saying that Weenine in a Bottle is funny and Another One Rides the Bus isn't.
You say that the farty pants line wasn't funny but Stuck my weenie in a bottle today,
Gonna shove it up there all the way.
I stuck my weenie in a bottle,
Oh no,
Can, can, someone come help me out?
It's turning purple,
All the feelings gone,
Now where did I put that friggin' phone?
Dialing 9-1-1! is funny? |

yep because it used the rest of the song great it was the crudest bloody thing ever, but funny. The "Farty Pants" line had no point but to rhyme. Unless you're going by E's interpretation, that it's intentionally pathetic to offplay the patheticness of the original artist... if that's the case, then the whole song could just be one lame, patheticly-done song with nothing clever at all and still be good heh.
Besides, you're just picking out the crudest and worst of my list there, and thus assuming the others are just as bad. It's the same as saying all of Al's suck because of "She Never Told Me She Was a Mime".
But anyway, I don't care, all I was doing was defending the little guys. I was saying you should give them a chance, and don't put them off just because they happen to be listed as Al's songs. Some, in my opinion, are just as good, or better, than some of Al's. Not all, but some. I hate dogmatism, nothing is perfection, and Al cerainly isn't. |

Well, I don't know that Ebay song. Maybe I should download it. But yeah, I admit that I kinda liked the Backstreet Boys song because... well, they are gay, aren't they? _________________
