Super sad day. The very first video I ever made, which was a video remix of one of Lindsey Stirling's music videos, was blocked on youtube today

I guess given the nature of what I do, I should expect this to happen from time to time. It just sucks that it was that video in particular because I literally spent weeks (40+ hours) making it, and for whatever reason I didn't save the files after uploading it so now it's gone forever

I'm sorry to hear that. It does suck with YT does that.

But yeah it'll happen. It's happen to me quite a bit. And I think they just go through every once and a while and do major sweeps.

I understand how you feel, i had a youtube account with tons of videos (and Subs) and one day I find out that the site closed my whole page because of copyright. I was so bummed, and I tried getting it back but they said the channel had 3 copyright strikes that it will never be back up.

It's best to have a back up channel and back up all of your videos, even the not so great ones, if any, and just hold on to them. I still have most of my very first LOST videos on a DVD and on my computer even though now I probably wouldn't show them to anyone again LOL.

I have some videos on youtube blocked, but I don't let it bother me too much because I know it will happen from time to time.
