Here's what it said, in case it went by too quickly:

"Talking about quality # 3:
Very simillar to #2, isn't it? Except those random clips that were placed throughout the video AREN'T RANDOM!! They have a meaning for being there, such as relating to the lyrics, or, if the person is doing a montage-like showing of a character, are placed in the proper order (so it doesn't, say, switch from Kate just talking with Jack to running from the monster) They also fit to the style of the video or verse, like a drum roll being an action scene or a slow yet meaningful beat for a slow yet meaningful look between two shippers. Not hard to do, it just takes more work, and a bit of artistic instinct."
'As for Quality Level 4:
It can only be reached by something that is trully original! Think! Use your creativity! Think-up something that's never been done before, and DO IT! ^^"
"Here are some more things to try to avoid doing... but nobody's perfect, right? "
"The Messy Clip: Shown when one tiny frame gets caught in the beginning of a clip. It is VERY hard to get rid of all of these things, and some are just stuck there in the clip sometimes. The only sure-fire way to get rid of them is by using fade effects. Just be careful."
"Clips of people talking. (It sometimes just ruins the mood a bit)"
"Aspect Ratio Changes: The ratio of width to height. Check out the "Vidder Help" forum for details."
"Words: i.e. Credits. Distracting, but aren't really a big deal."

It's kinda tough to acurately outline what we want in these, or rather, what we don't want, but the videos in the video pretty-much sum-up what those levels of quality look like (the examples that is) Don't be offended if it happens to describe your video either. There's nothing at all to be ashamed of, you just need to know that there's a bit more that we're asking for. Granted, it's hard work making a music video, especially putting that extra work in, but in the end it's all really worth it! |
