Is it wrong that I giggled at 'I must be strong and carry on' with Dexter stabbing somebody, not to mention the name of the boat? Probably, but oh well. I never got around to watching this show, but you did a good job with the song; kept my interest despite slow speed. I'll also add that I got black comedy out of this, so hopefully that was your intent.
And because I am a really, really terrible person
Spoiler:
I was waiting for the kid in the initial shots to fall out of a high window.
Sorry, but I can't be the only one who made that connection/assumption. _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.
I've never seen this show, mostly because I heard what it was about and it's just not my thing, but this vid is very well done. I really feel for the lady. Great song choice. It works in an unexpected way.

Nikki, great video! This is the first Dexter vid I've ever watched, and it was a perfect one to start with! Really liked how the song worked with the fandom. I never would have expected the two to fit,but it was perfect. It was a very touching video, which I didn't expect from the fandom. I liked the parallels around 2:45 between the baby and, who I assume is young Dexter. You did a really good job of humanizing Dexter. Loved the quote at the beginning.Great job!

Aww, thank you for making this great Dexter/Rita vid. They were such an intergral part of the show! Loved them.
I think this went fairly well for a vid with such a slow song, but there were some parts were the effects were too much for a slow song and that you went a bit quickly sometimes. (Although I did really like the transitions like 1:09.) I also LOOOVED the voiceovers and the overlays.
Overall, I enjoyed this! Good luck in the challenge. _________________

Thank you both. I love any comments, and I love suggestions! Thanks so much! It was a hard song to use, but I felt it grounded the intense parts a bit, but It was a very difficult song none the less...

I really loved this vid! I agree with PsychoCynic that a couple of the transitions (the zoomy ones) were a bit fast for a slow song. The song really works well for this couple too.
