Summary: Damon found her late at night in the woods. Severely beaten, near death. When he grabbed a hold of her to feed from her, her blue eyes bore into his, and his humanity surfaced. Instead of feeding, and ultimately killing her, he decided to change her. Having gone their separate ways many years ago, but they still stayed in touch and good friends.

I might have made some mistakes so bear with me. I haven't gone through to double-check all the links yet but I will. So, let me know if you see anything that's off! 
Eventually (sometime in the next year) we're going to get rid of cable and get Netflix. We actually watched the first few episodes and I have no idea why we didn't stick with it, but I loved what I did see.
