And making videos about it of course.

I assumed Kate died many years later. Because of her "I have missed you so much."

"She died an old lady warm in her bed" because yes, the ending especially with Jack/Kate reminded me of Titanic.

yes, it reminded me a lot of titanic aswell

Glad I am not the only one. LOL. And no I will not be vidding to Celine Dion's My Heart Will Go On

I did not make that Titanic connection til now; I should have its one of my fave movies, but it was very much like that ;P

i forgot to say, i love that it was Kate who was convincing Jack at the concert, that she was the one 'in the know' and he wasn't. I thought it was such a great change and Evi played it so well.

She did play it well.

Yeah, I loved the way Titanic ended so I got that connection.

I am assuming they're all going off to heaven together?

They also made it seem like Jack and Juliet didn't get along with David telling him not to act 'weird' but I got the notion that they weren't enemies.

And I am bummed. I bought season 2-5 a few months back and they decided now to realize a huge box set!? Most TV shows wait until a few years, its' nice to see that Lost didn't.

but it's nice that the season 6 is coming out in August and not December.

I really, really loved this episode... It's so wierd to think that lost is over now This finale, finally gave me that special lost-feeling that I haven't had in a long time while watching lost..it reminded me of the older seasons and made me miss them, but it was still perfect
I'm so glad that they decided to focus on the characters and not the mysteries... Honestly, I think it's pretty wierd that we never got any answers, but I'm fine with it anyway
CHARLIE AND CLAIRE REUNION! And it was even more amazing than what I'd imagined!!! A KISS! Claire giving birth to Aaron and getting reunionited with her son again like that! Perfection much? Loved it, loved it, loved When Charlie saw Claire from the stage, I was just one big smile
So yeah, I'm not gonna lie... Getting my PB&J kind of makes up for jate being endgame... I mean... Of course I'm extremely sad about skate not even getting 1 last goodbye-scene... Like a hug or a talk or something? But I think, in time, I'll be okay with it... Skate had their beautiful, meaningfull scenes and I'll always love them SO much - but fact is, that I've kind of had the feeling that jate was gonna be endgame for a while now, and I guess I just have to get over it. Jaters would've been just as sad if skate was endgame, so this is not an unfair way to end Lost. It's wayyy more fair than Kate not choosing anyone I'm really glad she did, cause I'd be disappointed in lost if she didn't.
Anyways....I really liked the finale. I may also be confused and sad, but... I can't lie and say that I didn't enjoy it, cause I really, REALLY did And like the rest of you, I cryed so many times Seeing Shannon again, omg! I had no idea I'd be so happy to see her, cause she's never been one of my faves, but wow... And Boone! And Libby! To see everyone together in that last scene was just amazing... I loved it And I'm gonna miss lost sooo much

Same. I would have been upset if she chose no one or someone else.

I am going to miss it too. I like that they wrapped up these characters in such a beautiful way.

I just wanted to say how wonderful this episode was and how I am going to simply cherish it forever. Shannon. I got goosebumps and all of the early Lost memories came flooding back, Shannon, it was amazing! I thought this episode tied together a lot of things, and Shannon. Did I write Shannon yet? I don't think I did...SHANNON! I screamed her name when I saw that gorgeous blondie I've been dying to see since she left us in S2, and when she and Sayid touched and the memories flowed, wow, EPIC.

Now anyone who knows me here on LVI, knows I am a huge Jun fan, and they kept me watching this fantastic show. When they both died, I felt massively upset at first, my favorite couple on Lost is gone...but this episode just brightened that dark cloud with lots of rays of sun..they remembered the memories!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought it was so cute when Sawyer came into the hospital room with Sun and Jin and they just smiled at him and they said "We'll see you there" I am assuming that was the church heavenly like place they went to, and I thought it was so cute how they knew who he was and he didn't...

The Charlie and Claire scene was another epic one, that was wonderful!!!

I really love how almost everyone got who they loved, Penny/Des and Jun, and Jate and Suliet and PB&J and Hubby! Ahh!

This episode left me with a few questions though..
-I am still not completely sure about the Polar Bears back in Season 1? Sorry for being a dough-dough head.
-Where was Walt, Mr. Eko and Ana-Lucia in this episode at the end? I know Walt didn't die but they didn't show them.

I am going to miss Lost, for some reason though it still hasn't hit me that it's over, but when it does, I might cry a little..
*hugs my fellow LVIers*

and..

Um, I'm not 100% sure but I think they explained the polar bears by saying that the dharma initiative were experimenting on them I agree with the other things you said, I was so happy to see shannon back! when everyone remembered, it was SO epic!

The Dharma initiative experimented on the polar bears. The cages that Karl, Sawyer, and Kate were in were is what the polar bears where kept. The fish-biscuit was their food. The way they got their food (AKA sawyer pushing the button and using his shoe) was one of their experiments.

They also had a shark too (The one with the stamp on it's tale) the place where Jack was, that's where they kept the shark.

I think Lost was about interrupting stuff. I think most of the answers are meant for us to think about them.

I think since day 1 Lost has been about these characters, sure I wanted some things answered but I would have rather seen things being resolved and taken care of with the characters more then them answering questions. I also believe that they didn't have answers, and I would rather them not touch up on questions they don't even know the answers too and give some lame copout reason to what was really going on.

I do believe that the Island is a cork to a hellish place, that uncorking it made it possible for MIB to get off because he became human but he wasn't much of a human because was still about killing everyone just to get what he wanted.

I believe the message of LOST is second changes and redemption.

I really.... That was just so epic I still don't know what to say. I never realized exactly how much I cared about these characters. Like Richard! I never realized how much I loved him until I was so relieved that he was alive, and then I kept getting teary when it showed him on the plane, *finally* getting off the island.

The part in the alternate universe with Jun remembering everything was amazing, I think it's one of my favorite Lost scenes EVER. Same for the PB&J scene.

I think the alt-reality is just where they went when they died, whether it was before the end of the show, like Boone and Shannon, or years and years later, like Hurley, Kate, Claire, Sawyer, etc. Since Ben didn't come into the church with everyone, does that mean he's still alive? I hadn't really thought about that...

Hey all, It's AngelicEvil.

I wanted to stop by, in the spirit of the Finale to give my own thoughts as well as my vidding plans.

I was angry with the Finale at first. I thought at first, that everything had been fake. That the island had been purgatory (after TPTB claimed that that wasn't the case years ago) and they had been dead throughout the whole show. After rewatching a few times, I came to the realization that that was not the case, and was very much relieved by it.

This show, has always been about the characters. An hour into the Finale, I spoke to my mom and told her, I'd be satisfied if the show were to end right there. The characters were finding each other in the absolute most beautiful way, and all came together at the very end. The show proved, that these characters mattered, not only to the viewers, but to each other, and I believe, that that is the best ending you could have. Sure, there were mysteries left unresolved, but I believe that was done on purpose, along with the actual ending. The creators left plenty open, knowing that people all over the world believe in different things, and left the mysteries as well as the ending, open to individual interpretation. I think any other ending wouldn't have done LOST justice. The show began with these people, and ended with them. I'm sorry to those who were disappointed with the ending, and hope that eventually you may change your mind and accept the ending in the future.

I sobbed through the whole thing. Particularly Claire and Charlie. They were my favorite ship above all else, and Charlie had been gone from the show for so long. Vincent, laying by Jack's side also pushed me over the edge. I'm still crying everytime I think of it, which makes it difficult, as I'm making a video at the moment.

As for making videos, I'm sad to say that this one I'm currently working on may be the end of it for me. I just can't imagine making more after this beautiful finale. How could I ever do something so beautiful justice? In time, I may change my mind, and I may make more. However, like many other people I'm sure, I'm feeling extremely and utterly, emotionally drained. I feel depressed that it's over, still upset over what transpired, and an extreme feeling of satisfaction. I loved the characters more than everything, I didn't care about the numbers, or Dharma. I cared about Jack, Claire, Aaron, Charlie, Kate, Sawyer, and the rest of them.

My guesses for a couple of issues:

Walt: My guess is that he is with his grandmother, and possibly Michael if he ever moved on. While I'm sure they were somewhat important to the rest of the characters, I'm sure that Walt, Michael, Walt's grandmother are with Walt's mother, and I'm sure Vincent is with them. And that thought alone makes me start crying.

Ana-Lucia: As Des told Hurley, she wasn't ready yet, so she is probably still dealing with her issues, but I don't think she felt particularly close enough to anyone (and vice versa) to move on with them. She is probably with her own family.

Eko: Same goes for him, and I imagine that he is with Yemi.

My guess would be the same for anyone not in that church, that they had someone more important to them, to move on with.

I feel that the turbulence that was hit in the premiere of Season 6 is what started it off. Rose told Jack afterwards, "It's okay, you can let go now", and she seemed to already know what was going on, as well as Bernard when Jack visited them. They were the wisest people on the show, so I think that the realization of their death came quickly. Jack was the last because throughout the whole show, he has had an issue of letting go, and even after death he still struggled.

I'm not fairly or hugely religious. I'm more spiritual, and to be quite honest, I'm fearful of death and the whole debate of what happens afterwards. This finale made me hope, that when it's time for me to pass away, that I have all the people I loved there waiting for me. So, to say that this finale moved me is quite an understatement. It helped me deal with my own fears and gave me a level of hope.

I hope you all are doing well,

Erin

this is honestly the only question I have....I got everything...

I just want to know what to do with my life....rofl

This episode was absolutely beautiful, meaningful, symbolic, in every sense.....to see my mom cry the next day after crying the night before melted my heart...the inner beauty is something to take with you forever

...it sad to see people didn't like it, but to each his/her own...not everyone will be satisfied...just so thrilled I was! (i mean no disrespect to anyone)

Actually, I think that Ben is still alive considering he wasn't at the church with everyone else who died and Ben wasn't ready to let go, the same with Ana-Lucia.
All of the characters dying at different times really confused me at first, but now I'm starting to get it
