I've just subscribed to youtube and was wandering how you get videos and how you put them on youtube.

If you mean how you upload videos then no need to worry, it's pretty simple!

Make sure you have a rendered version of the video file in your documents then just go to your channel page and next to the search engine at the top is a "Browse" button and an "Upload" button. Click the "Upload" button, it'll take you to a new page. Click the "upload video" button and select the video file you wish to upload. It should then start uploading and you can fill in the information while you wait.

It does get confusing, particularly when YouTube keep changing their layout
