mine came with Vista and then I upgraded to 7 fairly recently... I quite like it... love the new taskbar... and I had XP for a long time before that so I still love how easy it is to search through folders.... it does have compatibility issues with my old printer though

So it's like XP. I really loved XP and hated when Vista came out. I personally didn't like Vista only because it lagged with my computer. It was horrible.

I found a laptop that is 479 and comes with a printer, bag and 4 Gigs. I am thinking of buying it when I get my next paycheck. I have saved up money.

Kat my new computer is one of the A500s too and I totally love it... actually looks like they made a couple other changes when they switched from Vista to 7, but that's almost the same as mine

my last laptop was also a Toshiba and it lasted for 5 years.... I'm definitely a fan

To be honest. I have never even heard of an ASUS.

I am glad to hear it's better than Vista too. I really don't like Vista. My bragging uncle (LOL) works with Windows/PC at his work and preferred XP.

7 is basically Vista that they worked the bugs out of... it runs smoother/faster... and a lot of the changes they tried with Vista they polished up for 7.... set up wise 7 is very much like Vista... but definitely runs faster, and doesn't give you obnoxious warnings every 5 minutes and has a couple nifty new features

It was the video. It wasn't Sony that was screwing up. I accidently clicked on a older vid I had been working on and it went faster and didn't freeze. So I copied and pasted my other clips to a new one and it is working a lot faster!

Thank God for that. though I still do need a new computer. Lmao.
