As all of you know LVI keeps growing on a daily basis and we are hoping to provide Enchirito with some extra help with the site. If you are interested in this position please read the below ad to get all the details.
Assistant Webmaster Wanted
Lost Video Island is looking for an Assistant Webmaster. Interested applicants must have a basic understanding of html, css, php, and mysql. Must be willing to work in a group environment. The person selected for this position will work under Enchirito, LVI’s webmaster, and will not necessarily have final creative say on site design. Applicants must also have the available time to dedicate to the site on a daily basis.
The Assistant Webmaster will be solely responsible for daily maintenance on the site. Applicants must provide a sample of their prior work and a list of programming applications they are proficient in. All applicants must understand that this position DOES NOT pay so please do not inquire in the matter.
If you are interested in the position send an e-mail to lostvideo@gmail.com with the subject headline of “Assistant Webmaster Positionâ€. As stated above, please provide a listing of your previous work and links to any of your work that is currently online. We would also like a short paragraph explaining why you want to join the LVI staff and what you would like to accomplish as an Assistant Webmaster.

Now, I know I've seen at least a few of you say you had some webmaster experience The thing is, Enchirito isn't around often enough to take care of the little things we need doing, so we need another "assistant" as it were who can understand his code and work with it to fix up the basics. We'd love to have someone who is already a member here who we can trust with this responsability. If you think you're up to it, then please tell us. If you don't personally have any webmaster experience, but you know a friend or familly member who does, then we'd appreciate it if you told them about the site. Just mention "Over four million hits a month". |

Have you guys filled this position yet? I applied but no one ever responded. I'm not even good enough for a rejection letter? You guys really know how to hurt a girls ego.

Okay, I really need to pay more attention to the e-mail because I don't remember an e-mail coming in from you for this. I might have missed it if one of the others had read it first. I'll look through the e-mail and talk with the others.
I do apologize that we have apparently looked over your e-mail. _________________

Oh! Hah, I never thought of that. I'm not really all that broken up about it, I was just giving you a hard time. I am sure g-mail, which saves EVERYTHING automatically FOREVER, still has my e-mail if you want me to send it again if it does turn out that you guys never even got it. |
