I'm getting more and more into this show! I agree, Abby, Walter - John Noble - is the best part of the whole show. He's hilarious! _________________ Heather |

John Noble! That's right - I had a brain fart last night. LOL
Yeah, he's probably the best actor on the show. I was dying during the 2nd episode where he stayed in the car to play with the seat warmers. "I've never see anything like this before - it warms your ass, fantastic!" XD LOL _________________

I'm not too thrilled with it..at first I thought it had potential..but the lead actress just has been bugging me lately...I have too many shows to keep up with so I think I'm gonna let this one go. _________________

The lead actress bugs me too. She's too generic. There's nothing special about her that makes me both like her and want to tune in to see her. Her american accent drives me crazy too because you can tell how hard she's trying. It just hurts to watch sometimes.
I think they should have tried to lure Jennifer Garner back to TV or something. Or gotten someone more likable, like Zooey Deschanel or something.... _________________

she annoys me, too :S She's an Australian actress; why couldn't she use her real accent I wonder? i often think that. it's gotta sound better than a bad american one; surely that offends americans and australians alike, lol
Sarah Wynter would've been better, she's australian but she was in season 2 of 24 and her american accent was better than this chick. and she does look like Paltrow, now that you mention it nikki I don't buy her as her character; i think that's what I don't like. its like the actress isn't as strong as Olivia so it doesnt work

Well, I think you can't join the FBI if you aren't born here or something...not positive but... that could be why she has to be American. They should have just gotten an American actress then. _________________

Yeah, I don't understand that either....why cast an Aussie or a Brit in an american role? If the actor/actress is talented enough that they can pull it off (ala Kate Winslet or Cate Blanchett), that's one thing, but if they're an unknown with little or no experience, then why even bother?
She's really not that talented either. I think the character could be written a little bit better, but I think she'd be more interesting in the hands of a more capable actress. The more I think about it too, the more I think Zooey Deschanel would have been a better choice. She usually plays the weird, slightly emo girl, but I think she could bring a little bit more personality to Olivia....
Seems a lot of people don't like her though. I really wonder if they'll keep her around or kill her off and replace her. They did that in another Fox series one time - I don't remember what it was called, but it was about this senator's wife who went missing and they were looking for her. There was a lead agent on the case who was the man character of the show, but like the 4th or 5th episode they killed him off because he wasn't cool enough I guess.
Cause seriously, I really think the show could work a lot better without the Olivia character, even though she's the main person. The Bishops are much more interesting - just have them work with the FBI and get into the whole Massive Dynamic conspiracy thing.... _________________

i wish they'd replace her too but since she's the main character i guess its a lot harder. Maybe they could kill off Olivia and then Peter could have an old acquaintance who comes in and takes her place, so to speak. Or they could just issue a new agent to take Olivia's place and kill her off somehow _________________

Why don't they have that assistant chick be the main lead? She's spunky and has a cooler name (Astrid Farnsworth - I love it!! Makes me think of Futurama ).
Yeah, I think the best way of going about replacing her is to either kill her off and bring a new agent in, or have her go away and have Peter bring in some one new. I think it could be done if enough people complained about her and the ratings suffered.... _________________

I tune in for the Bishops Olivia and that guy she was with (John?) annoy me. i do like the assistant tho, Farnsworth!! love him in Futurama love that one where bender bends him...anyway... They kinda did this thing in CSI where one of the guys in the lab gradually excelled to working out in the field and then replacing an official CSI when they were killed off, but this happened over eight seasons. they should fasttrack it for Fringe, lol
she'd have to be replaced with someone a lot cooler. Eliza Dushku would be good, IMO. she has loads of spunk plus the agent 'look' to her and she and josh jackson would be hot together _________________
