I've been experimenting with the Sony Vegas 8.0 trial.I've been using the Sony Vegas All In One Help thread to find most of what I need to learn how to use the program. However I'm having trouble finding how you make titles and/or credits for your movie.

I would appreciate it if someone could explain or direct me to an explanation of how to create credits.

Hey, to create text for your video in vegas, you need to go to:

Insert > Text Media and then create the text you want on your video

To create credits:

Media Generator > Credit Roll and then choose which one you would like to use and then fill in the spaces provided with the text you want

also, if i could just jump in here, make sure the text is on the very top track otherwise it just gets messy

You can also get the text from the Media Generator.

I've never managed to successfully get the credit roll to work, I hate to admit!

It never puts the text where I want it to go and it just never looks right.

So if I want my credits to roll, I create the credits as text then use the keyframes in the pan/crop tool to make it look like they're moving, lol!

I really need to figure out what I'm doing wrong in the credit roll thing, though, 'cause it's annoying to just know that I can't seem to get that one thing to work right!
