Is yours basically the same as ours, with crappy D-grade celebrities? The show's really popular over here, it's been through like five seasons...dunno why though. _________________

LoL, my parents love that show. I admit I saw some of last season. It's true, these celebrities are all basically past their prime or not well known. Still, entertaining at points.
I don't like Mario as a person (he's known to be unfaithful). He was cool in "Saved by the Bell" though LoL, I want Springer to win, haha, yeah, not really. _________________

The sad thing is there are even worse shows than this..."Torbil And Dean's Dancing On Ice"...has-been soapie actors and hosts of unpopular quiz shows breaking bones while ice-skating...wonderful. _________________

Well, I know dancing is a hard thing. Especially if you have no talent for it, then you have to work harder than everyone else.
It's like vidding. Some people can just throw a video together in minutes and it's amazing, and some people have to work on it for days, sometimes months. I believe a truley great vid is by someone who really worked hard on it. Same with anything in life.
So, to see these people going through strenuous daily practices, is fufilling for me. They have to really make an effort and that's cool in my book. Not everything comes to everyone just naturally.
So scoff at me for watching this show, but I know how hard it is to dance ballroom like that. I'd like to see you guys try, it's not easy.
I watch So You think You can Dance too, Warren. Love that show! |

That's a really good comparison, Steph: vidding and dancing
I'm afraid tho that I would never get really far with my dancing skills. I'm hopeless!
We had that show here in Germany, too. The stars that were taking part weren't really very famous, but nontheless, I enjoyed watching it every now and then... at least just to see how they were improving. Some of them were like in the end! _________________

I'm not saying it's not hard to learn, I just don't see how it's entertaining to watch random people learn to dance for ten weeks. Just doesn't make much sense to me... _________________

Whoa! Joey Lawrence was really good! I still say Mario Lopez can dance like a pro. He's better than anyone else, makes you kind of wonder if he ever had training. I know they said he was suspected of it but denied it. He's just too good.
How bout that Emmitt Smith? He is so awesome! I like everyone on the show this year. Jerry Springer kicks butt for a man his age!
I love this show! Sorry, must be my age. |
