Can someone one help me? I don't not find any mention of profanity in the site rules. The question I need answered is this. What are the rules on profanity in song lyrics? I have made a video I like a lot but it contains a bad word which is repeated several times. The meaning of the word "isn't used in a bad way." However, its there pretty clearly. Would someone mind listening to the song, checking the lyrics, or watching the video for me to see if it is permissable. I would really like to submit it. I would really appreciate it a lot. I can e-mail any link to a council member if necessary.

Heya starsweetjunkie! We don't have any rules per se about profanity in song lyrics. What a lot of people do is what Jake did here with his vid, 99 Problems, which was to put the Parental Advisory seal on the picture. You can also mention it in the description, if you'd feel more comfortable, that way if anybody is bothered by the language, then they can skip it.

Overall, I think we try to keep the language at a PG-13 level as much as possible for all the delicate ears of the youngin's on this board. Okay, so it's probably more for ME than the youngin's because they know I don't care for bad language and they try to humor me as much as possible... Either way, a warning should certainly suffice.

I also realized that you guys review the videos before posting them so obviously would catch anything too overtly vulgar! Okay, cool. I am going to run over and submit! Thanks, again.
