I wouldn't be surprised if most of you haven't heard of this movie. It was a huge success at the Sundance Film Festival though and it's coming out in theatres July 28th.
They're getting the word out though, by having free screenings all over the US. Click here to see if it's playing near you.
I went into this movie a little biased anyway because I'm one of the biggest Steve Carell fans ever. But every single character in this movie was phenomenal. Almost every second was hilarious and those seconds where it wasn't funny were only the dramatic scenes in the movie.
The movie is mainly about Olive, a 7-year-old girl who wants to be in beauty pageants. She gets into the Little Miss Sunshine pageant that is taking place in California. So, her and her super-dysfunctional family all get into an old crappy VW Bus and drive from Albuquerque to California.
This is the only movie I've ever seen where the crowd gave it a standing ovation. Everyone loved it. I recommend it very highly. But no one ever sees what I recommend .
You can watch the trailers HERE. Go see it wen it comes out, guys. You won't be disappointed.

yeh, well if it played well at Sundance it's probably worth giving a try. I'll probably see it eventually on dvd eventually.
And I'm kind of an anti Steve Carell fan so I'd be interested to see him do something outside of his usual role. Unless he's doing that same character again _________________

Sounds really cool. I've been wanting to see this film ever since I saw the trailer, but I live in the UK and you get all the good stuff before us (apart from The Office bwahahahaha!). The film got a standing ovation you say? *ooo's and aaah's*
Anyway.. since I have to wait till September I will probably just rewatch the trailers over and over again _________________

Early September?
I can wait that long I guess.
I'd rather see it actually at the cinema than download it. _________________

Same. I love going to the cinema. And besides, If I give it a standing ovation infront of my computer thats not exactly going to get into the papers so I might as well give it one in the cinema _________________

I just saw this last night. I've been antisipating it for a LONG time, and it did not disappoint! That has got to be one the funniest movies I have ever seen in my entire life. And not only that, but it's DEFINITELY the best movie I've seen all year. I was laughing so hard at the end that I actually started to cry. The acting in it was AMAZING and it has some of my favorite people in it too. The new talent was just as outstanding.
It's already in my top 10 favorite movies. _________________
