So thought it would be a good idea to start this! someone in my art thread asked how I do that picute-in-text thing, so thought I'd share!
I'm on some other non-Lost forums and these things usually are really good for helping each other so we could like all share something? Or even ask how something is done!
So this is a quick tut on how to get this effect:
This tut is on how to do it with one pic for all the text,not a different pic for each letter, that's slightly different.
so you should get a font that it big enough for you to actually see the picutres inside!
so open a new document, and put the text made it as large as you want (free format is usually best to make it as big as the one i'm doing)
It's good to have the pic you want to use open so you can kinda judge where the you want the faces to be etc.
Paste the pic onto the new document, making sure the picture is the top layer.
Select Layer>Create Clipping Mask
so it should now look like this:
woop!
You can now add some effects to make it fancy! 
Remember and save as a .PNG file otherwise you'll end up with a white background!

| Anyone Ever Use Final Cut? |

I just got a new mac laptop and I bought a video editing program called Final Cut Express with it. It's kind of like Sony Vegas only it's for mac. Has anyone on here ever used it to make a video before? I'm asking because I'm still trying to figure it out and it's driving me nuts. The main thing that's been bugging me is that I can't seem to preview my edited project without rendering it. When I try to play it back, all I get is a blue screen that says "must be rendered." But how can you possibly make a good music video if you can't play back your work to see how it all fits together? Plus once you render it, you can't edit it...
I really want to use Final Cut because all I've ever used in the past is windows movie maker. I want to make some more in-depth videos, and windows movie maker just doesn't have all the necessary capabilities (and on top of that, it's an extremely frustrating program). Does anyone have any advice?
