| Converting flv to .wmv or .avi? |

So, I found a lot of the files that have gotten lost over the years. But they're .flvs. Does anyone know how to convert them, either to .avis or .wmvs, without getting loaded down with spyware or other weirdnesses, and preferably in a lossless format (since the .flvs are already kind of cheap-looking)?

Please help me.
I have AVI's of the episodes however when I try to work with them in Sony Vegas I can only see the clips in the Video Preview. When I try to work with it in the editing portion all I get is black screen. Also sometimes I don't get any audio when I preview it, but that's not a problem because I'm dubbing over it.
Tell me what to do!
