PROS:
- bandwidth-free
- free for everyone
- reliable as far as being part of the site (no bad connections)
- NO loss of any videos hosted on the site!
CONS:
- slow (or is it? tell me  )
- difficult for some to use
- requires seeders to work ( we would need CONSTANT support from you, the viewers)
- complicated
NO hosting:
PROS:
- bandwidth-free
- no more need for judging
- encourages people to get outside hosting
- we are thinking of implementing a search bar to find videos faster
CONS:
- people need to pay to get hosted (eg. http://www.itstandard.net/ )
- MUCH fewer videos on the site (about half of what we have now...)
- lowered quality of videos (no judging...)
-unreliable sometimes (eg. connection errors to outside-hosted sites.)
This could mean a big influence on what we choose to do for the future of the site. Bandwidth is the biggest problem we ever have, and we need to think up an idea that will give us the amounts we need. to be fair, there are still a few ways certain aspects of these two choices could be improved, such as hosting videos for one month, then stopping the hosting, if we choose not to have the constant hosting idea. But nonetheless it would involve lowering the ammount of vids hosted at one time. Can you all live with that? that's what this poll is for.

This is my first time on a board, but i have a question for Lostcalier and Enchirito!. When LVI 4.0 is created could you make options for the type of file to download? I can't watch all of them because I only have Windows Media Player. I asked my dad if I could get torrent but he said no. Also when I had Real Player my computer kept crashing. If you don't understand I guess this could work. You could have a video like "Priceless Moment" and when someone wants to watch they can choose according to the player they have like:Windows Media Player,Real Player, Quicktime, or Torrent. It's just a sugestion to make the next site better. Some of the videos I really want to watch, but I can't. I'll be more fun the next time come on. Don't worry. ByeBye 
p.s. "The Widow" is one of my favorite songs. I was thrilled to see it on here.

This music video is quite possibly the worst/most amusing piece of crap I've ever witnessed. It's by a guy named Pierre Nadeau who thinks he's FAR cooler than he actually is. (Note, this isn't a fan vid, it's a music video--though I use the term loosely).
I saw it first on Dollaraclip (which is a French Canadian tv show which showcases the absolute bottom of the barrel of music videos) then made it my mission to scour the web to find it.

I just had to inform the council what Enchirito and I just discovered and now it's time to let all of you know what is going on.
Most of you are aware of our recent server problems and I regret to inform all of you that our service provider has deleted all of our videos  . Enchirito and I have made the decision that we have to let go and let LVI 3.0 RIP.
Which leaves the council at a place where we have a lot of decisions to make. The main site design will remain but there are no actual videos there. We are taking LVI back to the drawing board and reconceptualizing it.
We will return with a fully operational site just as quickly as we can. This time we want to take the time to work out all of the kinks to provide you guys with the best possible site. The forum isn't going anywhere so help keep LVI alive in the fandom and let everyone know about the message board. We will live on through here.
The April contest will continue on and we will still judge your videos. If you have any questions about anything or ideas or concerns don't hesitate to let us know.
And if any of you want to send our service provider hate mail, good for you   .
Right now I am giving all of you my word that LVI is coming back and it WILL be better then ever!
