Okay, so I watched the documentary on IFC yesterday that was made in 2001 called "Dogtown and the Z-Boys" and I was totally enthralled for the whole two hours or whatever it was.
I previously didn't really wanna see The Lords of Dogtown, but after watching the documentary I couldn't help myself.
So, I thought it was pretty good. Did anyone else see it? I guess it's different watching it after seeing the documentary because it's really just like the period at the end of a sentence for me. I thought the film captured the look of Dogtown that I'd seen in the documentary original footage and sort of captured the feel of what was happening, though I can't vouch for any accuracy in the details.
I think, if you see the movie not knowing anything about Dogtown and the Z-boys, it should really be an "introduction" to them. These guys really were "pioneers" and I hate to use that word because it makes it sound like this was something that was planned and it makes me sound like a TV ad. It was just something that came out due to the right time, the right place, the right environment and circumstances. So yeah, I'm gonna be a professional skateboarder in my next life.
Anyone see it?

Okay, make sure to read Episode One: Starboard before this one.
Chapter One
Jack and Hurley quickly carried Sawyer into the cave and lied him down on the seat Boone had died on. "Dude, I think he's dead."
"He's not dead."
"But he looks really--"
"His breathing is shallow. It's hard to tell but he's still alive."
"Oh. Is he gonna be okay?"
"I'm not sure."
Jin was helping Michael into the caves.Sayid ran up to them. "What happened?"
"We were attacked 15 miles out."
"By who?"
"I think the others."
"What? But I thought they aren't rea--"
"You gotta find him."
"Excuse me?"
"Walt.You gotta find him for me."
"Do you have any idea where they are?"
"The smoke for one thing."
"I just can't go out--"
"Get a search party and find him."

Charlie, Nathan and Kate were walking back to the caves. Nathan walked up next to Kate."So, are you seeing anyone?"
"Charlie."
"You're seeng Charlie?"
"Charlie, can you please et this guy away from me?"
"Yes, I can." Charlie walked up and grabbed Nathan's arm and started to take him back to the others with the hatch.
Kate continued to walk along. It was now about 7:30 in the morning and she had had a long sleepless night. She heard something rustling in the bushes. She turned and looked at the massive bush next to her. She could hear breathing.
She slowly walked toward the bush. Something was in there.
Feel free to discuss who you think will die. It might help me decide.
