Okay I decided to get on the bandwagon of fanfic writing. Hope you like.
The Woman that Stopped the World: An Aislynn fanfic
Chapter One: WMM2
Aislynn was sitting at home on her computer. She was trying to download the latest vid by Stealth but it seemed to be taking forever.
"Damn infernal dial up." She muttered to herself.
Aislynn lived in a small hicktown in Alabama called Wenderly Montgomery Muldoon. There had been a forest fire back in Aislynn's childhood which had wiped out most of the town's infrastructure. The townspeople had to rebuild the place from scratch. Since then it has been known affectionately as WMM2. Some people whispered that the place was cursed. Only Aislynn really felt at home there. Broadband hadn't reached the area yet after a landslide blocked easy access from the road leading north.
Aislynn put her elbow on the desk and laid her face on her palm. I really think it might be time to give up vidding she thought to herself.
A quiet beeping sound much like that of a fax machine or a dial up connection could be heard. It was more like the sound of a spectrum zx computer booting up from tape on a very low pitch in a tank full of eels. Aislynn heard it though and thought her internet was reconnecting and cursed but her download was still dripping slowly to its completion. Aislynn sighed and figured she was going crazy and got up to make some pancakes for her breakfast.
"Maybe then this download will be finished!" She exclaimed and pottered off out the room wearing her pyjamas and leather boots. Aislynn never went anywhere without those boots. She felt they were part of her skin and she had got laid many a time thanks to the footwear along with her natural glowing beauty of course.

Meanwhile.. in Virginia raised voices echoed around The Pentagon.
"I really don't know what we will do if she stops vidding." A blonde lady in a blue suit was talking to a man sitting down with glasses and a side parting.
"Don't worry Holly. I'm sure the boss has everything covered." Warren said taking off his glasses and flashing a knowing look at the young lady.
"To your stations, ladies and gentleman!" A loud voice boomed over some speakers. Warren shrunk into his desk and put his hands over his face.
"Who is that?" Holly said putting her hands over her ears as the voice crackled into her brain. She shook her head.
"That's the boss. We call her LC."
"Ah. Why is she so loud?"
"I guess people get to be loud when they are in powerful positions."

"Get me E now!" LC demanded, her brow was slightly sweaty and crumpled. Men in white coats rolled in a tray with a glass container on it. Inside was what looked like a human head attached to tubes.
"It's lovely to see you LC." The head spoke its words muffled by the water.
"Give it a break E. We have a national crisis on our hands here. Aislynn is considering stopping vidding. You do remember what happened when Laura decided to stop vidding don't you?"
"It got a little warmer? What's wrong with that?" E muttered.
"The polar ice caps melted and thirty per cent of the world was submerged. I guess that can easily escape you considering you're in a glass bucket."
"Hey now steady on."
"The question is what are we to do?" She said running her hands through her hair and pacing back and forth across the room.
"I'll tell you what we do," his eyes thinned, "We're going to have to enlist the help of our robotics division. They can build anything these days. We will build a friend for Aislynn to convince her to continue to vid. They will need to be Southern like her and have charm and good humor."
"Okay I'll get them on it. Thanks E."
