There, just sorted those stickies and announcements a bit and got rid of some that don't have too much to offer  hopefully people will see what's there this way. If it gets too cluttered, it becomes useless, that's why I just link the text guides instead of stickying them up there.
Also added a new thread for clip requests.
Any objections? any other threads that should be stickied/announced?

There are a lot of clip requests showing up around here. So I'm focussing them all right here. This is the thread for requesting clips from your fellow vidders. Just don't ask for whole episodes or stuff like that and expect people to give you them, okay. While very little of what we do as vidders can be fixed within the bonds of "legal" the least we can do is discourage people from using LVI as an episode hub and downloading the whole things, so NO WHOLE EPISODE TRADING ALLOWED, only clips suitable for vidding. Also, if someone has already posted some clips you need, feel free to piggy-back on that download, rather than ask for them to upload again.
Please note that any clip transfers are provided solely by generosity, not obligation, so be very nice to anyone kind enough to offer you some. Uploading clips takes a long time, and is a pain for anyone, so keep that in mind before requesting.
But first, let me recommend you try searching other known Clip Sources before asking.

A gay subtext suddenly seems plain as day.
It was fun while it lasted.
Following that bloodless breakdown, we can barely bring ourselves to share the wonders of Brokeback Pez, the bunnies reenacting the entire movie in 30 seconds, this interview with the auteurs behind Brokeback to the Future (in our estimation, still the gold standard of mash-ups), or Low Culture's heartbreaking examination of the history of Brokeback Mountain jokes.

Hooray, I agree. This whole gay thing with the cast of Lost is just weird. I'm open about people being gay and all, but let's leave it to Queer as Folk & Will and Grace to handle the gay stuff. It was funny and cool when we were having the contest, but let's wave buh-bye now.  So far, no one is gay on the show, so let's leave it that way until they write it in.
